Jay Nigrini has over 20 years of experience providing criminal defense to individuals charged with serious crimes throughout Pennsylvania. Attorney Nigrini has been lead counsel for more than 200 jury trials involving offenses including murder, rape, sexual assault, corrupt organizations, drug distribution and firearms offenses. He has successfully litigated complex pretrial motions involving electronic surveillance, DNA, coerced confessions and illegal search and seizure. Education and Experience

Attorney Nigrini is a 1993 graduate of Wilson High School. He graduated from Syracuse University cum laude in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. Attorney Nigrini earned his Juris Doctor from the Pennsylvania State University School of Law while actively involved with the competitive Mock Trial Team in 2000.

Attorney Nigrini began his legal career as a prosecutor in the Berks County District Attorney’s Office. After successfully handling numerous difficult cases involving homicide, sexual assaults and drug distribution, Attorney Nigrini joined the criminal defense office of Allan L. Sodomsky.
